We Hire Intentionally.

POWER UP Productions is a boutique visibility and creative agency based in Richmond, Virginia. We don't post jobs and hope for the best. We hire people who are already showing up — in the work, in the community, and in the room.

Two ways to work with us right now:

AMP Membership Coordinator (Part-Time)

AMP is POWER UP's monthly visibility content membership for women — live in Richmond and expanding to DC Metro, Charlotte, and beyond. The AMP Membership Coordinator runs the operations and growth of that membership. Everything that needs to happen before, during, and after shoot day? That's yours.

Amy leads shoot day production, runs the monthly Zoom strategy sessions, and drives all content strategy and feedback. You make sure the machine runs — across two shoot days per month in Richmond, and on the road as we expand into DC Metro beginning summer 2026.

This is a W-2 part-time employee position — 10 to 20 hours per week — not a contractor role.

What You'd Own

  • All member and guest communications — confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and everything in between

  • Booking and coordinating creative venues for two Content Shoot Days per month in Richmond — plus travel support for DC Metro shoots beginning summer 2026

  • Managing open membership slots and guest pass logistics so nothing gets missed

  • Keeping Amy organized on what's been delivered to the community and what's coming next

  • Posting and engaging daily in the Learnasium community — and surfacing member feedback or questions that need Amy's expertise

  • Creating social media content for @amp_richmond and @amp_dcmetro that makes women stop scrolling and want in

What Success Looks Like

  • Members receive timely, warm communication at every touchpoint — without Amy initiating it

  • Two shoot day venues per month are booked and logistics are handled without a scramble

  • Guest passes and open slots are tracked and never fall through the cracks

  • The Learnasium community stays active and engaged between shoot days

  • DC Metro shoots run as smoothly as Richmond ones as we expand

  • Amy knows exactly what's been delivered and what's next — without having to ask

If Amy is chasing down details you should own by Day 60, something is off.

Who This Is For

You probably:

  • Are already connected in the Richmond women's business community — or know how to get in the room fast

  • Are the person people call organized, reliable, and switched on

  • Can create social content that actually converts — not just looks pretty

  • Are comfortable being the face of communications for a brand that isn't yours — and doing it with warmth and consistency

  • Thrive on making things run smoothly behind the scenes

  • Are based in Richmond, VA — two shoot days per month plus occasional DC Metro travel beginning summer 2026 means in-person is a real part of this role

  • Want to grow with something — Richmond is just the beginning

Schedule and Compensation

  • Hours: 10–20 hours per week. Shoot weeks — currently two days per month — and the week following will be fuller. Non-shoot weeks will be lighter.

  • Shoot Days: Required in-person attendance at both Richmond shoot days each month. DC Metro shoot travel required beginning summer 2026 — travel logistics and compensation discussed during the interview process.

  • Location: Hybrid — flexible remote hours with required in-person at rotating Richmond venues and DC Metro as we expand

  • Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience — rate discussed during the interview process. Virginia minimum wage applies.

  • Start Date: Immediate

The Opportunity

AMP is expanding to DC Metro next, followed by Charlotte and additional markets. The right person in this role grows with it — across every city, every shoot day, every new member we bring in. This isn't a static part-time job. It's a ground-floor seat at a membership brand that's building nationally.

Richmond is just the beginning.

About POWER UP Productions LLC

POWER UP Productions LLC is a Richmond-based visibility and content production company. Our flagship membership — AMP, Amplify My Presence — gives women a professional monthly content shoot, a live strategy community, and the accountability to show up consistently. We are expanding nationally and building something that matters.

Creative Contractors — Photographer & Videographer POWER UP Productions LLC  · Per-Shoot · Rolling Applications • VA, DC, NC, FL

POWER UP Productions LLC is building its creative contractor roster for AMP content shoots in a variety of key areas starting in Richmond and DC Metro.  We're looking for photographers and videographers who understand that showing up professionally — for clients, for the work, and for the room — is the baseline.

AMP shoots run twice per month at rotating locations in each city. As a contractor, you're producing professional photo and/or video content for multiple women in a single session — efficiently, creatively, and on time. This is not a one-client-at-a-time engagement. If that sounds like your environment, keep reading.

Who We're Looking For

Photographers

  • Professional portfolio demonstrating headshots, brand photography, and lifestyle/environmental work

  • Experience shooting in variable lighting conditions across rotating venues

  • Ability to direct subjects who are not professional models — quickly and warmly

  • Turnaround: 20–30 edited, color-corrected images delivered within 3 business days

  • Own professional equipment — camera, lenses, and lighting suitable for indoor and outdoor environments

Videographers

  • Professional portfolio demonstrating B-roll, talking head/direct-to-camera, and short-form content

  • Experience coaching non-professional subjects on camera

  • Post-production capability: captions, text overlays, and basic color grading

  • Own professional equipment — camera, audio, and lighting suitable for rotating venue environments

  • Familiarity with mobile production workflows a plus

All Contractors

  • Professional, reliable, and collaborative — AMP members are trusting us with their brand

  • Operate as an independent business — you are responsible for your own taxes, equipment, insurance, and business expenses

  • Aligned with POWER UP's commitment to making visibility accessible, human, and high-quality

What We Offer

  • Paid per-shoot engagement — rate discussed during onboarding

  • Consistent, recurring work tied to AMP's monthly shoot schedule — two shoots per month in Richmond with DC Metro expansion beginning summer 2026

  • A professional creative environment with clients who are genuinely invested in showing up

  • The opportunity to be part of a visibility-focused creative community that is building nationally

Important — Contractor Relationship

This is an independent contractor engagement — not an employee position. Selected contractors will execute a written Independent Contractor Agreement with POWER UP Productions LLC prior to their first shoot. Contractors are responsible for their own federal and state tax obligations, professional liability insurance, and business expenses including equipment. POWER UP does not withhold taxes or provide employee benefits of any kind under this arrangement.

Contractors set their own rates, use their own equipment and creative process, and are engaged on a per-shoot basis. POWER UP will not exercise control over how contractors accomplish their work — only the deliverable specifications and deadlines outlined in the agreement.
